The facility is open from Memorial weekend through Labor Day with a wide array of activities. The Splash has become Ferguson's summer place to cool off.

The Splash is now closed for the 2009 swim season

Here is the information for the 2009 season, we do not anticipate many changes for the 2010 season as far as hours and fees, any changes will be updated in May of 2010, we hope to see you next summer!

Open Swim:
Monday and Thursday (1:15 - 6:00 p.m.)
Tuesday and Saturday (1:15 - 7:00 p.m.)
Wed., Fri., and Sun. (1:15 - 8:00 p.m.)

Close at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesdays if a swim meet

Adult Swim: (12:00 noon.- 1:00 p.m.)

Here is information for the swim lessons we offer:

Group Lessons: Group Lessons are offered for children 6 & up for beginning, intermediate, and advanced swimmers.  Max class size: 8 per instructor.  The discounted fee is due to an American Red Cross grant. Ten classes per session.

Pre-School Lessons:  Pre-Schoolers ages 4 & 5 are invited to this class which provides the child with an introduction to formal instruction.  Max class size: 4 per instructor.  Six classes per session.

Moms, Dads, & Babies: This class is designed to introduce children two and three years of age to the water.  A parent must accompany the child during class. Max class size: 10 per instructor. Six classes per session.

Adult Lessons:  It's never to late to learn how to swim or improve your skill level.  This class is for adults who have never learned to swim or just need some refinement for beter excercise.  Adults of all abilities are invited to learn the enjoyment and benefits of swimming, one of the best excercises of all time.  Maximum class size: 10 per instructor.  Ten classes per session.

CLOSING POLICY: The Splash will not open for the day if the air temperature is below 75 degrees at 11:00 a.m. and the forecasted high for the day is 80 degrees or less. The complex will also close during periods of severe rain and/or lightning. In addition, the Splash may close if there are less than 25 swimmers after 2:30 p.m. with rain checks issued if closed before 4:00 p.m.

NON-RESIDENTS: Non-residents are welcome during all weekday hours. On weekends they may only enter as a paying guest of a Ferguson resident with a valid Splash ID on a ratio of up to four guests per resident ID card.

PHOTO IDENTIFICATION: All individuals 4 and older wishing to purchase memberships, or use the Splash this summer at the resident rate must have a new ‘10 photo identification card. ID cards are on sale to Ferguson residents for $2 per card. Cards may be purchased at the Recreation Office during the business hours. Residents must have two pieces of current identification with their name and Ferguson address to obtain their I.D. card. Individuals ages eight and under must be accompanied by an adult at least 18 years of age to use the Splash. Ferguson school students with a valid school ID may be admitted to the Splash at the resident rate the first two weeks of the pool open except Saturday and Sunday.
